Broken Promises is Building a New Support Village for Single Parent Families
Broken Promises is building a new support village for single parent families. Ingi Soloman is a Clinical Psychologist with at practice in Westport and White Plains. She teaches at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. She also is affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital in While Plaines, New York. She works with many children in divorce helping a large number of single parent families in her practice.
She has first hand knowledge of the village required to bring up children in today’s society. The responsibilities and stress of a single parent caring for a child. The safety net of a support village, the extended family is no longer there in many cases. The psychological-impact on parents and their children can be more than many can cope with alone.
Broken Promises is a beginning of building a new village. A new village that keeps promises. Its a village that allows parents to omake and keep promises for their children.
Broken Promises Single-Parenting and Child Development Advisory Group provides for the development of our single-parent support center content on single-parenting and child development and to educate other professionals on how to deal with family issues that result from divorce and single-parent family structures.
